Basketball Recap: Parma Takes a Loss

Parma saw some tournament action on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 83-39 loss at the hands of the Marsh Valley Eagles. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Parma's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Nathan Compas, who posted 21 points, and Jeb Hansen, who earned 14 points. That was a full 53.8% of Parma's points, marking the third time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points.

Parma's defeat dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Marsh Valley, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.

Parma wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-46 win against Nampa on the 20th. Marsh Valley has also already played their next matchup, a 64-57 loss against West Side on the 28th.
