Alan Whatley posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Manual: the team is undefeated when he allows at most three earned runs, but 6-7 otherwise.
