Flag Football Recap: Haley Hastings and Brooklyn Allen Pace Evergreen Defense

Evergreen played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Standley Lake Gators, falling 26-6. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 20-0.

Evergreen didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Haley Hastings and Brooklyn Allen. Hastings also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with ten.

Evergreen's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Standley Lake, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.
