Basketball Recap: Geary Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calumet, Geary was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 38-30 victory over the Canton Tigers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bison as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Geary's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Canton, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Geary will welcome Hydro-Eakly at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Geary has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Canton, they will host Pioneer-Pleasant Vale at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
