Jordan King and Jared Taylor were among the main playmakers for Charlotte Elite Academy as the former scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and two steals and the latter dropped a double-double on 19 points and 21 rebounds. Quincy Dunn was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Meanwhile, Oak Hill Academy - Red lost to Winston-Salem Christian on the road by a decisive 73-58 margin on Tuesday.
Charlotte Elite Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Oak Hill Academy - Red, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-8.
Charlotte Elite Academy beat Oak Hill Academy - Red 74-63 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for Charlotte Elite Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
