For the second straight game, Summertown will face off against Mt. Pleasant. Summertown will be playing at home against Mt. Pleasant at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Summertown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Mt. Pleasant will be up against a hot Summertown team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Summertown put the hurt on Mt. Pleasant with a sharp 7-1 victory on Monday. Considering the Eagles have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Keegan McCafferty spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up six Ks. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in May of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cecil Williams, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kane Konig, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Summertown's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
