Softball Recap: McMinn County Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, McMinn County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against the Heritage Mountaineers, falling 11-1.

McMinn County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Heritage, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

McMinn County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Roane County on the 10th. As for Heritage, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-2 victory against Dillon on the 10th.
