Volleyball Recap: Lac Courte Oreilles Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lac Courte Oreilles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Butternut Midgets, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-16.

Lac Courte Oreilles' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Butternut, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Lac Courte Oreilles will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Birchwood at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Butternut, they will square off against Mellen at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
