Volleyball Recap: Haynes Academy Takes a Loss

Haynes Academy was the 2-0 winner over Mandeville when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Haynes Academy fell just short of Mandeville by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Haynes Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mckenna Bourg paced Haynes Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Bourg got some help from Cameron Vaughn and her 18 assists. London Granados controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Alyssa Gaudet, who had 12 digs and two assists.

Haynes Academy's loss dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Mandeville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.

Haynes Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against University Lab on the 18th. As for Mandeville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against E.D. White on the 18th.
