Jordan came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Cinco Ranch Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-3 last Friday.

Owen Wendt tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, Jackie Bryant was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Luis Vera, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Jordan pushed their record up to 14-7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Cinco Ranch, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12-1 record this season.

Jordan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 loss against Seven Lakes on the 28th. As for Cinco Ranch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 11-9 defeat against Paetow on the 29th.
