 Hendersonville scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Friday. Everything went their way against the Trinity Hillers as the Hendersonville Commandos made off with  an  11-1 win. Considering Hendersonville has won three games by more than five  runs this season,  Friday's blowout was nothing new.
  Layla Akin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Akin was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with a  triple and a  run.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Katelyn Wenzel, who  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Kyleigh Goode, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Hendersonville and  bumps their season record up to 7-3.
 Hendersonville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  6-1  win vs. Bentworth on the 22nd. As for Trinity, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Montour at 4:00  p.m.  on April 2nd.
