Softball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

If Cherokee was feeling good fresh off their 13-0 takedown of Phil Campbell last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cherokee Indians came up short against the Colbert Heights Wildcats on Monday, falling 8-0. The Indians have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

Cherokee now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Colbert Heights, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Cherokee didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Athens Bible on the 6th. Colbert Heights has also already played their next matchup (against Florence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
