Soccer Recap: Waupaca Takes a Loss

Waupaca's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Marinette Marines by a score of 2-1. Waupaca's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Brody Woitczak, who's now up to four this season.

Waupaca's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Marinette, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Waupaca didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Adams-Friendship on the 11th. As for Marinette, they will challenge Peshtigo at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
