Mount Tabor is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of North Carolina's top teams: West Forsyth, who was ranked 20th at the time (Mount Tabor was ranked 23rd). Mount Tabor received a blow on Friday as they fell 58-41 to West Forsyth.

Meanwhile, Parkland didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Glenn on Friday, but they still walked away with a 55-49 win. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won four in a row.

Mount Tabor better keep an eye on Brock Jackson. He was instrumental in Parkland's win, putting up 32 points. They are 2-1 when Jackson posts 25 or more points, but 5-15 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamir Barrett, who posted nine points.

Mount Tabor's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-5. As for Parkland, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.
