Westside posted their closest win since April 23, 2024 on Thursday. They skirted past the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-4 last Tuesday.

Westside's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Westside will take on Tomball Kings at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Homeschool have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, they will head out to take on Wisdom at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
