Soccer Recap: Friday's Win Is Kaufman's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Kaufman's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Corsicana Tigers a 1-0 shutout. The Lions' winning goal came courtesy of Rylen Smith.

Kaufman is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those seven matches. As for Corsicana, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.
