Soccer Recap: Rio Grande City Takes a Loss

Rio Grande City lost against Mission Veterans Memorial back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rio Grande City Rattlers took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots.

Rio Grande City's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Mission Veterans Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Rio Grande City will be playing at home against Palmview at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palmview will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Rio Grande City surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mission Veterans Memorial, they will head out to challenge Mission at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
