Football Game Preview: Stamford Bulldogs vs. Sonora Broncos + How To Watch

The Stamford Bulldogs will face off against the Sonora Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Stamford is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Hawley just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 36-28 to the Bearcats. The Bulldogs gained 184 more yards on the day, but it was the Bearcats that made the best use of them.

Stamford's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. Slayden Young was the real danger to the passing game, picking up two interceptions all by himself.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 38 points the game before, Sonora was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were dealt a 42-12 defeat at the hands of Colorado. The Broncos were down 28-6 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Although Sonora took the loss, they still got scores from Brain Vasquez and Evan Arredondo.

Stamford's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Sonora, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Everything came up roses for Stamford against Sonora when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 45-8 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Broncos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
