Baseball Game Preview: Bayside Commodores vs. Francis Lewis Patriots

For the second straight game, Bayside will face off against Francis Lewis. The Commodores will venture away from home to take on the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bayside has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight losses, while Francis Lewis will come in with five straight victories.

Bayside managed to slip by Francis Lewis the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Commodores lost 12-5 to the Patriots on Tuesday.

For Francis Lewis' part, the team relied heavily on Eddy Lazar, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. Those three hits gave Lazar a new career-high. Gustavo Perez also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
