Mitchell had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.6 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Monday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 69-40 win over the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mitchell's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points over those games. As for Freedom Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.
