Westlake extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Talon Schank. The Thunder were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lone Peak Knights on Tuesday thanks in part to Schank, who had 12 digs and one assist. He has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last nine times he's played.

Westlake's got stronger as the match went on, holding Lone Peak to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-20.

Westlake's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. As for Lone Peak, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-4.

Westlake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against American Fork on the 17th. As for Lone Peak, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Skyridge on the 17th.
