While Jefferson's victory against Stevens wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cavaliers had just enough and edged out the Raiders 3-2 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (103-97) Jefferson actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-21, 25-23, 13-25, 15-9.

The victory got Jefferson back to even at 3-3. As for Stevens, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jefferson is set to face off against their familiar foe O'Gorman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stevens will take on rival Rapid City Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
