McCollum has gone 9-0-1 against Southside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The McCollum Cowboys will take on the Southside Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

McCollum's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Seguin as McCollum made off with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cowboys, who have now won four contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Alita Uresti and Yvette Hernandez scored all three of McCollum's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Meanwhile, Southside's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past Laredo LBJ 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

McCollum moved to 6-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Southside, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

McCollum took their win against Southside in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Does McCollum have another victory up their sleeve, or will Southside turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
