Baseball Game Preview: Bay Rockets vs. Normandy Invaders

For the second straight game, Bay will face off against Normandy. The Rockets will face off against the Invaders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bay hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Bay took an 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Normandy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rockets' pitcher stepped up to hand the Invaders a 2-0 shutout on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rockets have posted against the Invaders since April 28, 2022.

Not much got past Will Schrock, who gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks to keep Normandy off the board. Schrock has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ethan Sedivec, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Josh Cseh, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.
