Basketball Recap: Lourdes Central Catholic Takes a Loss

Lourdes Central Catholic played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Johnson-Brock Eagles, falling 67-33. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Lourdes Central Catholic's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sam Ebmeier, who posted ten points, and Oscar Krog, who scored five points. Ebmeier has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Nick Fedoris also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Johnson-Brock was led to victory by Brody Koehler and Casen Dalinghaus. Koehler went 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points, while Dalinghaus went 6 for 13 en route to 15 points and five steals. Those five steals gave Dalinghaus a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Austin Meyer, who earned nine points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks.

Lourdes Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Johnson-Brock, the win keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.
