Skyline got themselves on the board against Poston Butte on Monday, but Poston Butte never followed suit. They were the clear victor by an 11-0 margin over the Poston Butte Broncos. The victory was just business as usual for the Coyotes, who after seven games remain undefeated this season.

Jake Goins looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Zane Vander Linden, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Julian Otero, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Skyline always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Poston Butte only posted an OBP of .222.

Skyline's record now sits at 7-0. As for Poston Butte, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coincidentally, Skyline and Poston Butte will both be playing Horizon the next time they take the field. Skyline will head out to face Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Poston Butte will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
