            Morgan and Coventry squared off in some playoff action  on Sunday, but Morgan had to settle for second. They took  a  49-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coventry Patriots. The Huskies' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Morgan lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Emma Teuner, who  posted eight points and 12  rebounds. She is  on a roll when it comes to  boards, as she's  now  pulled down eight or more in each of the last ten games she's  played.  Sadie Passante was another key player,  putting up 18  points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Even though they lost, Morgan  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 14  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 13  offensive rebounds in three consecutive  games.
 Coventry got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Hailey Mayo out in front who  dropped  a double-double with 18 points and 17  boards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jianna Foran, who  went 5-for-12  on her way to 12  points in addition to five  assists and five  steals.
Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Coventry, the  victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 24-3.
As of now, neither Morgan nor Coventry have any future games scheduled.
