Baseball Recap: Herndon Takes a Loss

Herndon was the 6-5 winner over McLean when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlanders on Friday.

Herndon's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-6-1. As for McLean, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Coming up, Herndon will venture away from home to square off against George C. Marshall at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for McLean, they will welcome Freedom at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
