Volleyball Recap: St. Paul Academy-Summit Gets the Win + How To Watch

St. Paul Academy-Summit hadn't done well against Providence Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Spartans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lions. Surprisingly, this marked the Spartans' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

St. Paul Academy-Summit walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 26-24, 25-12.

Despite the loss, Providence Academy still got an impressive performance from Brooke Huegel, who had 29 digs and four aces. Huegel has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

St. Paul Academy-Summit's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Providence Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.

St. Paul Academy-Summit has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Mounds Park Academy on the 6th. As for Providence Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Blake on the 6th.
