Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Orofino). They were the clear victors by  a  41-4 margin over the Priest River Spartans on Friday. Considering the Maniacs have won seven games by more than nine  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Sady Olive made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Olive was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-6. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Orofino got a  massive  performance out of  Paige Deyo, who  went 3-for-6 with four  runs, five  RBI,  and three  doubles.  Rilee Diffin was another key player,  going 4-for-7 with five  runs, five  RBI,  and one  double.
 Orofino  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .582. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Priest River only posted  an  OBP of  .261.
Orofino pushed their record up to 8-2 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 28.5 runs over those games. As for Priest River,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-7-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orofino will host St. Maries  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Maniacs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lumberjacks have averaged an impressive 11.8  runs per game this season. As for Priest River, they will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Newport  at 12:00  p.m.
