Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Jets vs. Southeastern Local Trojans
Northeastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Southeastern Local Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-12.
Northeastern's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Southeastern Local, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeastern will square off against Tri-County North at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Southeastern Local, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Northwestern at 11:30 a.m.
