Basketball Game Preview: Maclay Marauders vs. Taylor County Bulldogs

The Maclay Marauders will venture away from home to challenge the Taylor County Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Maclay's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so Taylor County's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Maclay will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Chiles, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Maclay skirted past Chiles 38-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Marauders have posted since December 2, 2023.

Lauren Guyer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 17 points. The matchup was her third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Journey Kramer, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Taylor County was able to grind out a solid victory over Jefferson County on Friday, taking the game 47-37.

Maclay's record now sits at 7-2. As for Taylor County, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
