Flag Football Game Preview: Vista del Lago Eagles vs. Bella Vista Broncos + Official Tickets

The Vista del Lago Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Bella Vista Broncos at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Vista del Lago is headed into Wednesday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They fell 13-6 to Ponderosa on Monday.

Vista del Lago didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Taylor Peyrucain and Reese Clark. Peyrucain has been hot, having also posted at least one defended passe the last five times she's played.

Meanwhile, Bella Vista fell victim to Woodcreek and their airtight defense on Monday. They were dealt a 57-0 loss at the hands of the Timberwolves. The Broncos haven't had much luck with the Timberwolves recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Bella Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Vista del Lago, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

Everything came up roses for Vista del Lago against Bella Vista in their previous meeting back in September, as the squad secured a 46-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
