Softball Game Preview: Troy Warriors vs. Crean Lutheran Saints

The Troy Warriors will take on the Crean Lutheran Saints at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Troy and 12 for Crean Lutheran.

Yorba Linda hit Troy with a four-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors came up short against the Mustangs, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly ten runs.

Meanwhile, Crean Lutheran lost 14-4 to Brea Olinda on Tuesday.

Amanda Angel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Crean Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Troy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.

Troy took their win against Crean Lutheran in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
