The Silver Fighting Colts scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They strolled past Lordsburg with points to spare, taking the game 60-42. That looming 60-42 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Silver yet this season.

Silver's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kianna Murillo led the charge by scoring 12 points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for Murillo. Another player making a difference was Juliana Kirker, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.

Silver pushed their record up to 2-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lordsburg, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Silver will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Socorro at 5:30 p.m. Socorro is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Lordsburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Mountainair at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (Mountainair is ranked 92nd, while Lordsburg is ranked 78th).
