Freeman strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Colfax Bulldogs a 14-0 shutout. The Scotties have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Kaylee Ripke made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI.

In other batting news, Freeman let Rilyn Ripke and Isabel Silva run wild. Ripke went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double, while Silva went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. With that strong performance, Silva is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. Harper Sefton was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Freeman was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Colfax only posted a batting average of .067.

Freeman's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Colfax, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Freeman beat Colfax by a score of 17-2 later that day.
