Basketball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Comes Up Short

Southeast Whitfield County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 47-24 to the Allatoona Buccaneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-47 back in January.

Southeast Whitfield County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Allatoona, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Southeast Whitfield County will square off against rival Cedartown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Allatoona is set to face off against their familiar foe Cass at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
