Softball Game Preview: New Site Royals vs. Hamilton Lions

For the second straight game, New Site will face off against Hamilton. The Royals will be playing at home against the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Site has given up an average of 12.6 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

New Site lost 14-3 to Hamilton on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Royals in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Tori Banegas was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kayleigh England, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

The victory snapped Hamilton's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-9 record. As for New Site, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
