Football Recap: Pamlico County Comes Up Short at Home Against KIPP P + How To Watch

Pamlico County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 72-7 loss at the hands of the KIPP P Pride. The Hurricanes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-0.

Noah Gibbs threw for 45 yards. Semaj Baucom was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards. On the ground, Kamden Keyes rushed for 43 yards.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pamlico County is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Swansboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for KIPP P, they will head out to take on Roanoke Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
