Softball Recap: Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Takes a Loss

Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Canby Cougars, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts' loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Canby, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts will square off against Putnam at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Canby will be paying especially close attention to the Mustangs' contest: after the Mustangs face off against the Kingsmen, they'll take on Canby again at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
