Volleyball Recap: Garden Grove Comes Up Short

Garden Grove lost against Tustin back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Argonauts took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tillers.

Garden Grove was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23.

Garden Grove has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Tustin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Garden Grove has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Portola on the 30th. As for Tustin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Segerstrom on the 30th.
