Basketball Recap: Richton Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Richton can now relate to. They took a 51-36 bruising from the Newton Tigers on Thursday.

Richton's loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Newton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-6.

Richton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newton, they will square off against East Union at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Union will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Newton surely won't give up without a fight.
