Volleyball Recap: Hollister Takes a Loss

Hollister had lost three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 17-14 to make it four. They fell just short of the Christopher Cougars by a score of 3-2. The Haybalers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

As for Christopher, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. The win was familiar territory for they, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Rylan Antipuesto was the offensive standout of the contest as he had eight digs and four aces. Those four aces gave him a new career-high.

Hollister wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Monterey on the 1st. As for Christopher, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Santa Teresa on the 5th.
