Softball Game Preview: Bellbrook Golden Eagles vs. Carlisle Indians

The Bellbrook Golden Eagles will square off against the Carlisle Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellbrook is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Bellbrook will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Brookville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Blue Devils on Monday. The Golden Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Abigail Hebrank (2028) made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last 11 matchups. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run. That triple was her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Heidi Pummell (2027), who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Kelsey Kenney (2027) was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
