Preview: Norwell Knights vs. East Noble Knights
Norwell has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the East Noble Knights at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Norwell suffered their closest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Fort Wayne Bishop Luers by a score of 49-47. While losing is never fun, Norwell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 140th, while Fort Wayne Bishop Luers is ranked 35th).
Meanwhile, East Noble scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 69-54 victory over Leo. The victory was some much needed relief for East Noble as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Norwell has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for East Noble, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Everything came up roses for Norwell against East Noble in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 77-41 win. With Norwell ahead 41-21 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
