Basketball Recap: Takini Takes a Loss

Takini was the 56-44 winner over Marty Indian when they last played one another back in February of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Takini Skyhawks were dealt a 94-24 defeat at the hands of the Marty Indian Braves on Wednesday.

Takini's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Marty Indian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Takini won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Crow Creek at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Marty Indian, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Cheyenne-Eagle Butte at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
