Basketball Recap: Refugio Comes Up Short

Refugio came up into this matchup off a tough 32-point defeat last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Three Rivers Bulldogs by a score of 37-35 on Friday. The Bobcats have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-2. As for Three Rivers, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14.

Coincidentally, Refugio and Three Rivers will both be playing Kenedy the next time they take the court. Three Rivers will head out to face Kenedy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Refugio will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
