Volleyball Recap: Mountain Ridge Beats Tolleson for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

Mountain Ridge had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Tolleson Wolverines 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mountain Lions also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While Mountain Ridge might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Tolleson scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.

Tolleson's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Rebecca Moreno Grijalva, who had six aces and four digs, and Brooklyn Harris, who had seven kills and two blocks.

Mountain Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Tolleson, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Mountain Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Willow Canyon on the 5th. As for Tolleson, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Westview on the 9th.
