Brian Steele posted a new career-high in RBI on Tuesday. He scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Calhoun Falls Charter back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Whitmire is undefeated when Steele posts two or more runs, but 1-8 otherwise.

Coming up, Steele and Whitmire will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Newberry at 7:00 p.m. The Wolverines have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since March of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
