Basketball Game Preview: Newton Falls Tigers vs. Jackson-Milton Bluejays

The Newton Falls Tigers will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Jackson-Milton Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Newton Falls faced off against Bristol on Monday. Newton Falls fell 33-26 to Bristol. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Jackson-Milton strolled past Memorial with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 47-28. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bluejays.

Jackson-Milton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Newton Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Newton Falls took a serious blow against Jackson-Milton in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, falling 58-21. Can Newton Falls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
